Comments on the following requested amendment to the Metropolitan Transportation Improvement Program will be accepted until May 28, 2024. The Transportation Planning Committee will consider this request at their meeting on June 20.

 

Project Name: Northwest Oregon 2024-2027 ADA curb ramp design, phase 2

Applicant: Oregon Department of Transportation

STIP Key Number: 23029

Description: Design for future construction of curb ramps to meet compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.

Funding: $8,000,000 (Surface Transportation Block Grant)

Proposed Changes: Add 2024 Right of Way ($3,438,000), 2024 Utility Relocation ($400,000), and 2024 Construction ($113,384,000) phases using GARVEE bond funds from funding buckets for ADA (STIP Key 23044, 23031, and ADA bottom line); Reduce Preliminary Engineering phase by $1,500,000, moving funds to STIP Key 22985 (phase 1); Update name to “Northwest Oregon 2024-2027 ADA curb ramps, phase 2”.

Notes on Changes: There are many project locations throughout ODOT Region 2, including various locations in Central Lane MPO.

Action: These changes are requested by the applicant or certified agency on the applicant’s behalf. CLMPO approved the original project scope for inclusion in the TIP. Any changes must be approved by the MPO upon consideration of the federal requirements of Title 23 U.S.C. 450.326. MPO approval signifies that this project is consistent with the goals and objectives of the MPO’s Regional Transportation Plan and meets the federal requirements for inclusion in the TIP.
