This program is open to any unpaid caregiver of an individual with Alzheimer’s disease, or caring for an adult over the age of 60. This program also includes services to unpaid grandparents age 55 or older caring for a grandchild who is under 18, or over 18 with a disability. Case managers can help seniors who need assistance managing activities of daily living access the services and resources they need. Services include:
To be a successful, responsive, loving caregiver, you cannot do it alone. If you are caring for someone with memory loss, confusion, or a chronic physical illness, it can be stressful and exhausting. Respite provides you with a break so you can rest, run errands, or do things for yourself. Respite can be provided either in your home, or at a facility.
