Advisory Councils

LCOG Senior & Disability Services (S&DS) is the local agency responsible for planning and providing most publicly funded services for seniors and adults with physical disabilities. Our Advisory Councils advise the Lane Council of Governments Board of Directors and agency staff on services provided by S&DS and all other important matters affecting the administration of S&DS, except for matters of personnel administration, staff pay and benefits.

Both councils meet six (6) times per year, on the 3rd Friday of the months of January, March, May, July, September, and November.

The councils serve all of Lane County and are interested in securing representatives from all of Lane County, especially individuals from rural communities and members of underrepresented and marginalized communities.
