Grandparents Raising Grandchildren

If you are raising a grandchild or another relative’s child, you are not alone. Millions of grandparents and other relatives are raising children. The needs of children can seem overwhelming, especially if you are unexpectedly thrust into the role of being their primary caregiver.

If you're feeling stressed, overwhelmed, and unhappy, you are not going to be able to provide the best care for your grandchildren. It's important that you take care of yourself and not allow yourself to be overwhelmed by your parental responsibilities.

To apply for either of these programs, call 541-682-3353 and ask about the Senior Connections Relatives as Parents Program.
